This power list is available for anyone to use if they so choose. Unless my vampire character has a separate power list, this is used for Cos' vampire characters. Robin has this list as well as her 'ice vampire abilities'. Other vampire characters are more specifically powered with regards to sunlight, food, and a few other ...specialties.

Aging - They keep their appearance by regular feeding of blood. They can feed in human and animal forms.
Flight - Able to fly in bat form. Directionally floats/moves in mist form.
Healing (self) – a vampire naturally heals his/her own wounds. This process is sped up by the act of feeding, or from aid of another source. If injured near to death or even death, if the full moon rays fall upon them they can be healed from such injury.
Human food - can eat or drink, but it is not particularly agreeable to their physiology and can cause discomfort. As a result, most choose not to indulge.
Mind Manipulation - a vampire can not only read thoughts, but can actually manipulate them. Memories and dreams can be affected by this, and a mental domination can actually be established over the weaker mind. Unprotected mortals and vampires of a younger generation can be manipulated this way.
Mist form - Able to change into foggy mist, seep through cracks in walls/buildings.
Power of the mind - the basic level that all vampires have in this gift is the simple mind manipulation described above. It is also possible to simply sit back and watch thru a linked mind, seeing what the target creature sees. Older vampires can expand this power to include many mortals at once, or over greater distances.
Power of Flight - an advanced level of telekinesis, this can be used by a vampire to fly over great distances quickly, and fly very high into the atmosphere. Others can be carried as well, although it will strain the vampire somewhat, and limit the heights, distances, and speed in which they can move.
Puncture wounds to humans - do not heal, they remain tiny wounds until naturally healing by either the human self or the new vampire ability (depending if the person was turned or remained human)
Quickness – a vampire moves at a faster speed than a mortal. Once a vampire has learned control of his/her new body, he/she has amazing speed and reflexes, moving at a near blur to mortal eyes.
Reflection - he/she has no reflection in a mirror, photographs or paintings. If someone tries to paint them or takes their photograph the image fades and only the background is revealed.
Retractable fangs - Able to retract or display fangs at will.
Senses – a vampire can see, hear or smell things not perceivable to the human senses. They are able to manipulate their own emitted senses to above or below the human range. They can see in the dark, mimic sounds, read and learn quickly, or hear things beyond the normal scope of humans.
Shadows - casts no shadow in the sunlight.
Shadow walking - Ability to fade into the shadows becoming invisible to mortal eyes.
Shape-shifting - Can change into wolf, bat, rat, or other feral creature (aids in the ability to hide from mortals and their belief it is an animal that attacks and kills)
Siring - can turn a victim into a vampire by repeated feeding from them. Usually three consecutive nights.
Strength – the vampire has strength that far exceeds that of a mortal. This increases with age.
Telekinesis (TK) – a vampire can use this to manipulate the physical world. Objects can be lifted, made to "float" around the room with minor concentration. A vampire can make him/herself levitate with this power, older vampires actually possessing the ability to fly.
Telepathy (sent thoughts) – a vampire has the ability to send and read thoughts of mortals. They are also able to do this with other immortals, although the intended recipient can block or guard the thoughts if desired. This works with any immortals, with the exception of a Sire or Chylder, as Sires and their embraced are unable to transmit thoughts between one another. Vampires are also able to wash their senses and emotions over the mind of another, i.e. sending feelings of comfort and love, or even sensations of orgasmic pleasure. This last example is often used when feeding, as this is a natural moment of pleasure for the vampire.
Toughness – along with the strength of twenty men, the vampire is very durable. He/she has incredible stamina and endurance. Vampires do not easily tire nor do they suffer from human sickness. A vampire can actually absorb most of the damage from a bullet wound, for example. The bullet will hurt considerably, but the vampire's body is too powerful to be killed by this manner.
Vampire Weaknesses
Animals- Some animals, particularly horses and cats, can sense vampires. This creates a fear / panic or wildness in the animal, even if they are domesticated.
Decapitation - If placed with body, can heal and reform from this injury. With one exception see fire
Fire - If while she is incapacitated by either staking or beheading the vampire can be killed if hit with fire.
Reception - The vampire can only enter a house with permission. After that permission is obtained, he/she can enter freely at any given time.
Sunlight:- Does not harm though it does weaken them and they are unable to shift into animal or mist form unless it is just at dawn, noon, or sunset.
Roleplay notes:
Van Helsing: "The sun that rose on our sorrow this morning guards us in its course. Until it sets tonight, that monster must retain whatever form he now has. He is confined within the limitations of his earthly envelope. He cannot melt into thin air nor disappear through cracks or chinks or crannies. If he goes through a doorway, he must open the door like a mortal."
The traditional Victorian vampire has a range of supernatural abilities. Shape-shifting, limited flight, control over animals and the weather, the ability to scale walls and other gifts, on top of the standard vampire strengths.
Varney has fangs, leaves two puncture wounds on the necks of his victims, has hypnotic powers, and has superhuman strength. Unlike later fictional vampires, he is able to go about in daylight and has no particular fear or loathing of crosses or garlic. He can eat and drink in human fashion as a form of disguise, but he points out that human food and drink do not agree with him. His vampirism seems to be a fit that comes on him when his vital energy begins to run low; he is a regular person between feedings.
